The Kiwoko Chase is an annual event enjoyed by the general populace of this vibrant town. In 2011, ten (10) bazungu (singular: muzungu), (Caucasian in Luganda), participated in the event, the highest number in the event's history. Patrick & Patrick, the towns local traffic enforcement agency, helped maintain security at this event. It is still a mystery how their uniforms remained white the entire time. The participants of the Chase enjoy games and activities that include dancing and numerous skits, the meanings of which are still unknown to international visitors. The event was capped with prize-giving, where all participants received gifts, ranging from dinner plates to mattresses to flashlights and other various paraphernalia. This was followed by roasting of a bull. No one was injured during the event.
