Kinema
Kinema may refer to:
- kinema (किनेमा) — a popular Nepali dish which is prepared by fermentation of soybean. Kinema is cooked and taken its soup with rice. It is very similar to the Japanese natto. Usually prepared at home as it is difficult to find commerical Kinema.[1]
- The Kinema Ballroom (locally known as the KB) was a famous dance hall in the city of Dunfermline in Fife, Scotland, opened in 1938 and still in existence today (2011) as 'Velocity'.[2]
The word kinema has been derived from 'kinambaa' of Limboo indigenous language of Nepal where 'Ki' means fermented and 'nambaa' means flavour ==References==
