History

It was affiliated in 1928 as a football Club and 1933 as a hurling Club. The team colours are red and white. Their grounds are in Kilworth. The present field was purchased in 1959, the year of the sub division of Moore Park between An Foras Taluntais, Mitchelstown C-Op and Local Farmers and the work was rounded off in 1969 with the building of new dressing rooms. In 2006, Kilworth won the Cork Junior Hurling Championship, and thus qualified for the Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship, which they also won.[1] They went on to reach the semi-finals of the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship, but lost to Danesfort GAA.[2]
