Killwhitneydead is an American deathcore band from Greensboro, NC, formed in 2001.[1] They are characterized by their mixture of blast beats, traditional metal riffs, death growl vocals and occasional trace elements of power metal. The band is mainly known for their great use of audio samples from pop culture films and television shows.

The band began as a studio project, releasing an EP, Inhaling the Breath of a Bullet in 2002. Two years later they changed their lineup and released their first full length album in 2004 entitled Never Good Enough for You. Since then, the band has released three more studio albums, a DVD, and a box set of re-mixed and re-recorded material from their early years. The group's fifth album is due to be released in mid-2012.

Killwhitneydead. is signed to Tribunal Records, which is owned and operated by vocalist/founder Matthew Rudzinski.
