Fastiv (Ukrainian: Фастів Fastiv, Russian: Фастов Fastov) is a city located in the Kiev Oblast (province) in central Ukraine. Serving as the administrative center of the Fastivskyi Raion (district), the city itself is also designated as a separate raion within the oblast. The current estimated population is around 50,500 (as of 2004).

Lying on a conjunction of railway lines, Fastiv is an important station on the rail route from central Europe to Russia and Asia. Brewing and machinery industry is also present, although the majority of inhabitants are employed by "Ukrzaliznytsia" railway company.

Fastiv is a historical city that survived through Cossack wars (incl. the period of total devastation and later resettlement). Landmarks of those times include Pokrovska Tserkva (17th century Orthodox church named after Cossack leader Semen Paliy) and a Catholic church (early 20th century).
