Khawari

Khawari is a village of Mansehra District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located at 33°54'25N 72°9'56E and lies about 12 kilometres away from Mansehra city, the district capital with an altitude of 4000 metres.[1] It is a major village of Lassan Thakral Union Council.The population of this village is about 4000.Tanoli and Awan are the major tribes of this village. RHC is located on the side of the village. Most of the population is literate. Primary and HSSC percentage is more than 90%.

Khawari is situated among forests, streams and small mountains. The Seven Seas Public School (SSPS) is located in Khawari. The Jamia mosque of Khawari is currently constructed by the great devotion of local community.The people of Khawari showed the practical example of unity and discipline with respect to the construction of this mosque.

Khawari was developed fastly durin General Zia regime . Major contribution in socio-economic deveoplment is because of LATE capt Pir Muhammad And most recently by our MPA Shazi Khan. He has funded for re-carpeting road from Mansehra to Khanwari. We have one other very famous so called "Farzand Hazara" (MNA Safdar) have done zero effort to develop the area.He devoted all his life helping the people from Khawari, he never got married and have the largest funeral in the Khawari history.
