Khafif

Khafif was the ruler of Mansurah in Sindh who was defeated by Mahmud Ghazni[1] Khafif is also identified with Dodo .[2]

According to Ahmad Hasan Dani , Khafif was the founder of the Soomra Dynasty who ruled for 15 years (1011-1026 AD) from his new capital at Tharri in Matli Taluka .[3]

Scholars concur that Khafif was an Ismaili .[4] The Ismaili are a sect of the Shias,[5]
