Kevin Mesa is a United States/Colombian soccer player who currently plays as a forward for the Puerto Rico Islanders of the USL First Division.
Kevin played for the Brooklyn Knights, New Rochelle Raiders and Storm Academy of the United Soccer Leagues Super Y-League.[1]
He first tried his luck as a professional player at FC Schaffhausen in 2006, but due to work permit complications he was let go. He resurfaced again in 2008 this time at the New York Red Bulls training camp.[2] Where he was signed on a development contract, but was let go after playing only 4 games with the Red Bull's reserve squad.[3] Later that year he was signed by the Puerto Rico Islanders and sent on loan to Sevilla FC Bayamon for the rest of the season.[4] He has resigned with the Islanders for the 2009 season.[5]
