Kevin Hayes (born May 8, 1992) is an American amateur ice hockey right winger currently playing for Boston College. Hayes was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks 24th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.[1] At Boston College, Hayes will play with his older brother Jimmy who was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and was later traded to Kevin's team of the Chicago Blackhawks prior to the 2010 draft.[2] He is cousins with former National Hockey League players Tom Fitzgerald and Keith Tkachuk.[2]
