Mixed martial arts record from Sherdog

Kevin Belingon (born October 20, 1987) is a Filipino mixed martial artist from Kiangan, Ifugao. He is a Wushu expert and the reigning flyweight champion of the URCC, the biggest MMA promotion in the Philippines .[1] He has a perfect record of 9-0 and has fought for Martial Combat in Singapore and Legend FC in Hong Kong as well as the URCC.

Belingon is a powerful striker with superb conditioning, capable of wearing down even the most seasoned of opponents, and he is quickly making a name for himself as one of the most promising bantamweight fighters in the Asia-Pacific.[2]

He is a member of Team Lakay Wushu in Baguio City which is also home to URCC pinweight champion Roy Docyogen, URCC welterweight champion Eduard Folayang and URCC Lightweight champion Honorio Banario. He is a BS in Criminology graduate.

Belingon's first fight outside of the Philippines was at Martial Combat 2 in May 2010. He won via TKO against Ngoo Ditty after taking the Thai fighter down and landing a series of unanswered punches.[3]

Belingon was scheduled to fight former King of the Cage flyweight champion Ryan Diaz at URCC XIX [4] in April 2011 but Diaz pulled out of the fight due to injury.[5]

In June 2011 it was reported that Belingon was being considered for the URCC hall of fame along with Team Lakay team mate Eduard Folayang and that they had both been offered a one year contract by Legend FC.[6] Folayang decided to sign for One Fighting Championship instead.[7]
