KeepVault is a backup service that uses cloud storage and local backup. The KeepVault software is priced based on the amount of storage a user requires. Plans start at $48/year for 40 GB. [1]
KeepVault provides real-time, continuous, and automatic backup, based on user-selected folders or file types. Backup occurs simultaneously to both a local hard drive and the user's online storage. Users are able to protect up to 1000 computers to the same online storage account and access or restore files between computers.
KeepVault was first available for the Windows Home Server platform. [2] The KeepVault software is now available for Windows platforms like Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows Home Server, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2008. KeepVault is also available as a cross-platform SDK.
