Kastamonu Spor Kulübü (Kastamonu Sports Club) is a Turkish football club from city of Kastamonu. They started to play in the sacond level at the 1967 - 1968 season. Following season they were relegated. Worse was yet to come. Kastamonu Spor relegated to the amateur level at the 1976 - 1977 season. Their come back to professional football was at the 1984 - 1984 season. Since then they compete in the third level. The team enter to the promotion play-off after 2007 - 2008 season. But Lost to Darıca Gençlerbirliği and could't reach the TFF Second League. Kastamonu Spor, competed in the 4th group of TFF Third League at 2008 - 2009 season. Despite failing to reach promotion stage, good results meant that they were top of the classification group and another play-off chance seemed possible. For the 2009 season, they guaranteed the play-off spot for promotion to TFF Second Level.
