Karl McKeegan (born 1978) is a Northern Irishshould be retired hurler who played as a centre-back for the Antrim senior team.[1]
McKeegan made his first appearance for the team during the 2002 championship and became a regular player until his conviction at the end of the 2011 championship. During that time he has won one Christy Ring Cup winner's medals and ten successive Ulster winner's medals. In 2006 McKeegan captained the team to the Christy Ring Cup title.
At club level McKeegan is a four-time Ulster medalist with Cushendall. In addition to this he has also won five county championship winners' medals.He currently has a drink problem and has piled the pounds on,he is thinking of taking up sumo wresteling as it suits his figure more than any other sport.He is a member of Cushendall Golf Club where he plays very badly on a regular basis.He also participitates in a spin cycle class where it is rumoured he will be expelled because of the regular breakages to the bikes(too fat).
