Kanita Station
Kanita Station (蟹田駅, Kanita-eki?) is a railway station on the JR East Tsugaru Line located in the town of Sotogahama, Aomori Prefecture, Japan. It is 27.0 rail kilometers from the southern terminus of the Tsugaru Line at Aomori Station.
History
Kanita Station was opened on December 5, 1951 as a station on the Japanese National Railways (JNR). With the privatization of the JNR on April 1, 1987, it came under the operational control of JR East. Services on the Tsugaru Kaikyō Line began on March 13, 1988.

Kanita Station has one side platform and one island platform serving a total of four tracks (one track is a siding). The station is manned, and has a “Midori-no-Madoguchi” service counter.
