Kangayampalayam

Kangayampalayam is a suburb of the city Coimbatore in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is the one of the fast growing suburbs in west Coimbatore.

Demographics

As of 2001^[update] India census^[1], Kangayampalayam had a population of 3845. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Kangayampalayam has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 64%. In Kangayampalayam, 7% of the population is under 6 years of age.
