Kamenica nad Cirochou

Kamenica nad Cirochou is a village and municipality in Humenné District in the Prešov Region of north-east Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1317.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 179 metres and covers an area of 17.573 km². It has a population of about 2340 people.

Sights

• Classicistic mansion from 1773 (at the moment closed for public).
• Church of St. Stephen from 1782.
