KYSX is a commercial radio station in Billings, Montana, broadcasting on 105.1 FM and is under ownership of BMG Billings, LLC. [1] Licensed to Billings, Montana, USA, the station serves the Billings area. The station is currently owned by Bmg Billings, LLC. The station has obtained a construction permit from the FCC for a power increase to 100,000 watts. [2]

Prior to December 2, 2008; it was an adult hits station known as "Bill FM". Originally signed on 5/15/1998 as AAA Classic Hits 105-1 KBEX, later changed to the rock format, first as 105-1 The Blitz, rebranded in 2003 as 105.1 The End under the new call letters KNDZ before switching to KQBL on August 26, 2005 and changed their call letters to the current KYSX on March 4, 2011. On March 21st, 2011 the station flipped formats from ESPN Radio to classic rock, branded as "105 The X".
