KXOJ-FM (100.9 FM) is a contemporary Christian formatted radio station licensed to Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and serving the greater Tulsa area. It is part of the Stephens Media Group, (no relation to the newspaper owner) and has been on the air since 1977.
KXOJ broadcasts from a tiny (by modern broadcasting standards) 361-foot tower near Sapulpa. Combined with its 5,000-watt ERP, this results in a much weaker signal compared to the other major Tulsa stations. Several inner-ring Tulsa suburbs such as Broken Arrow, Claremore and Okmulgee get only a grade B signal. Despite these signal limitations, it is one of the most popular radio stations in Tulsa, and has also won three Dove Awards as Station of the Year.
KXOJ's on-air lineup includes Craig West and Heather Miles each morning from 6-10am. They are a consistently top-rated morning show in the Tulsa market, with tenures of 10 and 5 years, respectively.
