KVNS
KVNS (1700 AM, Classic Hits Radio 1700) is a radio station broadcasting a Classic Hits music format.[1] Licensed to Brownsville, Texas, USA. The station is currently owned by Clear Channel Broadcasting Licenses and features programing from Fox News Radio, Premiere Radio Networks and Westwood One.[2]
History
The station was assigned the call letters KQXX on March 6, 1998. On February 26, 2004, the station changed its call sign to the current KVNS.[3] on February 3, 2004 the station was sold to Clear Channel Broadcasting Licenses, and on February 17, 2009 the station was sold to Clear Channel Broadcasting Licenses.[4]
