KTVJ-LP is a television station in Santa Rosa, California, broadcasting locally on channel 36 as an independent station. Founded November 20, 2001, the station did not appear on the air until July 26, 2004. The station is owned by Fiori Media.
KTVJ shares the same frequency with KICU-TV in San Jose. While KTVJ mainly serves the Santa Rosa area and communities to the west, some interference does occur in Sonoma County, preventing viewers from viewing programming on KICU. After the digital transition, KICU plans to relocate from channel 52 back to channel 36 with additional power. As a result, KTVJ will no longer be able to operate on channel 36 and will need to relocate to a different channel. At present, KTVJ has a construction permit for a primary transmitter on channel 4, with a translator to cover the city of Santa Rosa on channel 20.
