KTPX-TV, virtual channel 44, is the Ion Television-affiliated television station for Tulsa, Oklahoma, licensed to nearby Okmulgee, owned by ION Media Networks The station operates its digital signal on UHF channel 28, using its former UHF analog channel assignment of 44 as its virtual channel via PSIP. On cable, KTPX can be seen on channel 4 in standard definition and on channel 704 in high definition on Cox Tulsa.
KTPX was also the former calls of what is now KWES-TV (channel 9), the NBC affiliate of Midland/Odessa, Texas from 1981 to 1993.
