KSMQ-TV is a public television station in Austin, Minnesota, broadcasting locally on digital channel 20 as a Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member station, with additional programming from Minnesota Public Television. The station is owned by KSMQ Public Service Media, Inc. The station also serves as the default PBS member station for Mankato and Rochester, neither of which have a PBS station of their own.
The station was broadcasting on analog channel 15 (located near Austin) and digital channel 20 (on the KXLT-TV tower near Ostrander). KSMQ discontinued their analog broadcast on May 1, 2009. After they cease analog transmission, the digital channel remains on ch. 20.
