KPXO-TV (digital channel 41) is the Hawaii affiliate of the Ion Television network, owned by ION Media Networks. KPXO serves the island of Oahu with three multiplexed digital subchannels; 66.1 is ION, 66.2 is qubo, and 66.3 is ION Life.
KPXO was a charter affiliate of the network when it began as PAX TV in 1998. Due to limited feed abilities, KPXO is not available over-the-air or on cable in many other areas of the state.
In 2009, KPXO left analog channel 66, remaining on digital channel 41 when the analog to digital transition was completed on January 15, 2009.[1]
