KGNG-LP is the first and only digital TV Channel in Las Vegas. NV to broadcast eight subchannels. The station is owned by King Kong Broadcasting. Its transmitter is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, just outside of Henderson, Nevada on Black Mountain.
The station filed for a construction permit to broadcast on digital station on UHF channel 48. Programming on digital rf channel 48, display 47, began December 31, 2008.
KGNG was the first Las Vegas television station to broadcast more than four different digital subchannels. Retro Television Network was added on its fourth digital subchannel on June 12, 2009. A 24 hour Movie network became the fifth subchannel on August 19, 2009.
