The station was assigned the call letters KFRZ-FM on 1984-09-17. On 1985-10-01, the station changed its call sign to KSOS and on 1995-06-26 to KLZX-FM. On 1998-03-13, the station became KUUU, and on 1998-05-01, KRAR. Finally on 2006-09-13 the station became current KEGH.[2]
