KDKT
KDKT (1410 AM) is a radio station that serves as West-Central North Dakota's Fox Sports Radio outlet, as "Fox Sports Radio 1410." KDKT's former call letters were KHOL, which carried an Adult Contemporary format. It was originally a country music format known as "Coal Country", when it launched in 1978.
KHOL was purchased in 2006 by Arizona-based media firm Digital Syndicate Network, LLC from Two Guys Broadcasting, Inc. The station was originally owned by Mercer Broadcasting.
KDKT covers a large portion of West-Central North Dakota, including key cities such as Bismarck, Dickinson and Minot. The station dropped its longtime call letters of KHOL in favor of KDKT in March 2006. The station is the home of Fox Sports Radio, as well as the popular syndicated sports talker Jim Rome. "Fox Sports Radio 1410" also carries regional, and local sports teams from North Dakota.
