KBEF
KBEF (104.5 FM, "Today's Christian Music") is a radio station broadcasting a contemporary Christian music format.[1] Licensed to Gibsland, Louisiana, USA, the station is currently owned by Greenwood Acres Baptist Church and features programing from Salem Radio Network.[2]
History
The Federal Communications Commission issued a construction permit for the station on March 9, 1998 to Northstar Enterprises, Inc.[3] The station was assigned the KBEF call sign on May 1, 1998.[4] On September 30, 2000, the permit was assigned by Northstar to the current owners, Greenwood Acres Baptist Church.[5] The station was granted its license to cover on May 23, 2001.[6]
