KAJE (107.3 FM, "107.3 Jake FM") is a classic hits radio station licensed to Ingleside, Texas, USA.[1] The station serves the Corpus Christi area. The station is currently owned by Convergent Broadcasting Corpus Christi, LP.[2]
On August 30, 2010 KRSR dropped its Star 107.3 adult contemporary format and began stunting with an all-Beatles format, with an announcement made at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010. Following the announcement, it became an adult hits format. The shift left rhythmic-leaning KKBA as the only AC station in Corpus Christi.
On September 7, 2010 KRSR changed their call letters to KAJE, to go with the "Jake FM" branding. However, since the flip of rival KKBA to adult hits in June 2011, KAJE changed entirely to a classic hits format, mainly due to no post-2000 songs at the station.
