KAGS is a sister station to KCEN-TV, another NBC affiliate located in DMA 88, but broadcast from separate studios near Waco, Texas[2].

History

KAGS-TV began airing local newscasts at 6 and 10 p.m. from its studios in Bryan, Texas in October of 2011. Newscasts are broadcast in High Definition on virtual sets created with chroma key technology.[3]
