K58CM is a low-power television station licensed to Duluth, Minnesota. It was most recently a translator (rebroadcaster) that broadcasts programming from the Trinity Broadcasting Network, via satellite. The station broadcasts on UHF channel 58, with no digital signal currently on-the-air.
On March 31, 2006, the station applied for a construction permit to begin converting operations to digital television. Upon completion, the station will broadcast at 3 kW on Channel 41.
TBN took K58CM silent March 26, 2010 due to declining support, which has been attributed to the digital transition, and likely universal carriage of the network by the cable and satellite providers in the area.[1][2] At this point, it was the only low power analog station servicing the Twin Ports, Now that it has gone silent, all remnants of analog television have stopped broadcasting in the Twin Ports area.
