K25IA-D is a low-power translator television station in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It broadcasts locally on digital channel 25 at 15 kilowatts from an antenna located atop the IDS Center at 80 South 8th Street in downtown Minneapolis. This station uses MPEG-2 audio rather than the ATSC standard, AC3 audio. Some set-top boxes only received AC3 audio, so individuals with this type of set-top box received K25IA without sound, although this problem was reportedly fixed in the mid-summer of 2010.
