KUNR (88.7 FM) is the flagship National Public Radio station in Reno, Nevada. Owned by the University of Nevada, Reno, it is a typical full-service public radio outlet airing classical music, jazz, and NPR news and talk.
KUNR is the oldest NPR station in Nevada; it has been on the air since October 1963.
The station operates a full-time satellite, KNCC in Elko, along with 13 translators across Nevada and California. All but one directly repeats KUNR.
