Kōchi Police motorbike accident
The Kōchi Police motorbike accident was a traffic accident that occurred between a school bus and a police motorbike in Kōchi, Japan, on March 3, 2006. The bus driver was arrested.
Defense lawyers and several media groups pointed out that fabricated evidence caused false convictions after verification experiments were conducted, and multiple witnesses testified. Kochi Prefectural Police Department denied these accusations at the prefectural assembly and at a press conference.[1][2]
