Justice is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States established in 1911.[1] The population was 12,850 as of 2006.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 3.0 square miles (7.8 km2), of which, 2.9 square miles (7.5 km2) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) of it (1.36%) is water.
A major road running through the town is Archer Avenue (Illinois Route 171); in addition, Justice lies close to Interstate 55 (also called the Stevenson expressway, after Adlai Stevenson) and Interstate 294 just east of LaGrange Road (U.S. Route 45).
As of 2006, there were 12,850 people, 4,578 households, and 3,465 families residing in the village. The population density was 4,187.5 people per square mile (1,617.8/km²). There were 4,772 housing units at an average density of 1,638.9 per square mile (633.2/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 63.61% White, 11.14% African American, 0.19% Native American, 1.75% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 2.76% from other races, and 5.29% from two or more races.
The top four non-African American, non-Hispanic ancestries reported in Justice as of the 2000 census were Polish (24.2%), German (13.1%), Irish (11.8%) and Italian (5.7%).[2]
There were 4,402 households out of which 39.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.4% were married couples living together, 15.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.5% were non-families. 22.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.77 and the average family size was 3.28.
In the village the population was spread out with 28.3% under the age of 18, 10.5% from 18 to 24, 34.4% from 25 to 44, 19.5% from 45 to 64, and 7.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females there were 97.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.9 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $50,254, and the median income for a family was $52,323. Males had a median income of $40,340 versus $28,507 for females. The per capita income for the village was $20,714. About 6.6% of families and 8.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 8.0% of those under age 18 and 3.8% of those age 65 or over
The town is also known to be home to the legend Kiernan Glynn. He can be seen playing basketball at the courts in the summertime with the brothers. Also he can be seen walking through the neighborhood since he doesnt have a car. Jimmy's Drive In has been known to be one of Kiernan's most beloved places to eat in the neighborhood.
Justice is in Illinois' 3rd congressional district.
