June 2007 Texas flooding

In June 2007, repeated flooding took place in the U.S. state of Texas. The flooding caused 11 deaths. [1] This was mainly due to a tropical rain belt that went too far up north[2].

Marble Falls received 18 inches (460 mm) of rain in a matter of hours.[3] KXAN's meteorologist Jim Spencer provided over 5 hours of live on-air coverage and interaction for the Marble Falls specific storm.
