Journo, is a new public affairs program of TV5 to be hosted by head Luchi Cruz-Valdez, takes off from the realities of today’s changing world of journalism and focuses at the week’s most pressing issues as tackled by print columnists and cyber world commentators.
Modern technology has changed media landscape. With limitless access to information, people today exercise their own judgment in interpreting the news and events -- for better or for worse.
Giving column items a second look, the show is a fresh attempt at engaging the public in a discourse that combines all media platforms. It aims to help viewers evaluate and understand news that flood the market from the point of view of a professional journalist.
Journo is produced for TV5 by Unlimited Productions Inc., a sister company of now-defunct Probe Productions, Inc.
