Joseph Lofthouse, Sr. was an Anglican bishop in the 20th century.[1]

Lofthouse was born on 18 December 1855.[2] He was ordained in 1883[3] and began his ministry as a missioner at Fort York. He was then Archdeacon of Moosonee before being appointed as the first Bishop of Keewatin in 1902.[4][5]

Lofthouse retired in 1921 and died at Dawlish on 16 December 1933.[6]
