During his career, Freijo played solely in Spain, never in higher than Segunda División B, and almost exclusively in the Community of Madrid.
He represented Rayo Vallecano B, Rayo Vallecano (seven matches in the 2004–05 season[1]), Atlético Madrid C, CD Guijuelo, UD Marbella,[2] CD Colonia Ofigevi, CDA Navalcarnero, Vallecas CF and CD Marchamalo.
Although he was born in Spain, Freijo opted to represent the Equatorial Guinea national football team through ancestry, as many players in the same predicament (Javier Balboa, Rodolfo Bodipo, Benjamín Zarandona, etc.). He made his official debut in 2007, at the age of 25.[3]
