John Arthur Guille[1] is the current Dean of Southwell. [2][3]
He was born on 21 May 1949,[4] educated at Guernsey Grammar School for boys[5] and ordained after a brief career as a teacher in 1977.[6] He was a Curate at Chandler's Ford then Priest in charge of St John, Bournemouth and after that Rector of St André de la Pommeraye,Guernsey. He was Archdeacon of Basingstoke then Winchester and a Canon Residentiary at its cathedral until his elevation to the Deanery. [7]
