John D. McMillan
John D. McMillan was the 12th head college football coach for The Citadel Bulldogs located in Charleston, South Carolina and he held that position for two seasons, from 1953 until 1954. His career coaching record at The Citadel was 4 wins, 15 losses, and 0 ties. This ranks him 21st at The Citadel in total wins and 23rd at The Citadel in winning percentage.[1] He had been head coach at the University of South Carolina for the 1945 season leading the Gamecocks to an invitation to the first Gator Bowl after posting a 2–4–3 record. They lost 26–14 to Wake Forest.
