Career

Cavalli signed for the Hornets on deadline day of the 2007 January transfer window, on a free transfer from French side Istres. He signed an 18-month contract. He made his debut in the 1-0 win against West Ham United on February 10, 2007 [1]

Cavalli had his contract with Watford cancelled by mutual consent on August 20, 2007.[2]

On October 18, 2007 it was announced that he has signed a two year contract with Belgian club Mons.

Ajaccio

Cavalli joined his hometown club AC Ajaccio in the summer of 2011 following the club's promotion to Ligue 1. He made his debut for the club on the opening day of the season, playing 77 minutes in a 2-0 loss to Toulouse.[3] Cavalli was in the starting eleven for Ajaccio's trip to the Stade Gerland the following weekend and played 78 minutes in an impressive 1-1 draw with hosts Lyon.[4] Ajaccio played hosts to fellow Ligue 1 newcomers Evian Thonon on 20 August 2011. Cavalli was instrumental in the game, setting up midfield partner Frederic Sammaritano with a beautiful flick inside the box and the playmaker put the hosts up in the 7th minute.[5]

International career

Cavalli has also been capped for the Corsica national football team, which is not a FIFA member, as it does not represent a fully sovereign nation. On 31 May 2011, he scored the only goal to help his team to a prestigious 1:0 win over Bulgaria in a friendly match.
