Joe DiRosa

Joseph Martin "Joe" DiRosa (born November 4, 1974) is the owner of the New York Artist Series,[1] L. A. Artist Series[2] and Miami Artist Series.[3]

Early life

DiRosa was born to Joseph D. DiRosa and Mary Suzanne DiRosa on November 4, 1974. He graduated the oldest non-sectarian private school in the United States, Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School in 1992 at age 17. He was also known for throwing large nightclub parties of 500 - 1000 people while in high school.

During his teen years he lived at Harperly Hall on Central Park West at which time Arthur Sulzberger Jr., Madonna,[4] Mikhail Baryshnikov, and members of both the Reagan and Bush Presidential families owned residences as well.

Artist Series

Joe DiRosa is the owner of the New York Artist Series,[5][6] L.A. Artist Series and Miami Artist Series.

He launched the New York Artist Series in January 2002. Web portals for the L.A. Artist Series and Miami Artist Series were launched in November 2003 along with ArtistSeries.tv a web destination for a planned Artist Series cable channel.

He is noted for trying to turn the former Avalon/Limelight Nightclub into an art gallery, special events venue, concert hall and film studio.[7][8][9] The New York Artist Series is currently in negotiations for financing to acquire another undisclosed location in NY.

Film

In 2008 he shot and produced the short film peaceXpiece : can we come together?[10]

He has also shot and produced over a 150 pieces of media content for New York Artist Series TV & New York Artist Series Films.[11]
