Jobing.com's marketing strategies combine traditional media (broadcast, print, and online) and some non-traditional strategies. The most obvious being “Jobing Mobiles", participating employee vehicles are wrapped in a removable 3M vinyl wrapper in exchange for a monthly car allowance and coverage of fuel costs.[3]

The Company also acquired the naming rights to one of the largest venues in the Phoenix area.[4] Jobing.com Arena is the home of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Phoenix Coyotes.

Company Culture

Company history

The concept of an online "employment community" with a specific focus on local recruiting was the vision of Jobing.com founder Aaron Matos.[8] At the time, Aaron was the director of human resources for a regional publishing/media company in Arizona. With many years of experience in the human resources profession, he was well aware of the fact that the success of an organization was directly dependent on hiring great people. From his experience, he also knew that recruiting local talent quickly and cost efficiently was a daunting task. In early 2000, the website was launched in Phoenix, Arizona and has grown by focusing on servicing local markets and aggressively marketing its services. The company expanded to serve Tucson, Arizona that same year.
