Joanne Stepaniak
Jo Stepaniak (1954) is the author of books on veganism, including The Vegan Sourcebook and several cookbooks.[1] In her work, she emphasizes compassion toward everyone, including meat-eaters.
She was elected to the Vegetarian Hall of Fame on Thursday evening, June 19, 2008, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, at the 34th Annual Vegetarian Summerfest of the North American Vegetarian Society.
