The town now has got two intermediate colleges, an engineering college and several private schools. Jhinjhana is surrounded by small villages, like SIKENDAR PUR, Laprana, PirKhera, Bidoli, Patani Pratap Pur, UNN, Singra, Kertu, Gogwan etc. The village folks normally are farmers and grow a lot of Sugar Cane, Wheat, Rice and Vegetables.
