Jharsuguda Airport (IATA: VEJH) is located in Jharsuguda town in the western part of Orissa, India[1]. This is one of the oldest airports of India. Recently, the Orissa govt. has taken some initiative to revive and modernize this existing airport. It is reported in various media that government has decided to opt for a public-private partnership for this work. SREI, a Calcutta-based finance company, has expressed interest and is negotiating with the government in this regard.
