Jean Elizabeth Coussins, Baroness Coussins (born 26 October 1950), is an adviser on corporate responsibility, a member of the Better Regulation Commission, and a parliamentarian. Lady Coussins is a member of the Advertising Standards Authority and was until recently the Chief Executive of the Portman Group, a not–for–profit organisation that promotes sensible drinking by the consumer and responsible marketing by the industry.

In February 2007, it was announced by the House of Lords Appointments Commission that she would be conferred with a life peerage and would sit as a Crossbencher in Parliament; her title was gazetted as Baroness Coussins, of Whitehall Park in the London Borough of Islington on 23 March 2007. She has been awarded Honorary Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Linguists[1] and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Lady Coussins married, in 1976, Roger J. Hamilton, with whom she has three children.
