Jay Aspin (born 1949) is a Canadian politician. He was elected to the Canadian House of Commons for the federal Conservative Party of Canada in the 2011 election, representing the electoral district of Nipissing—Timiskaming.[1] He finished just 14 votes ahead of Liberal incumbent Anthony Rota in the initial count, triggering an automatic judicial recount[2] which ultimately confirmed his victory by a margin of just 18 votes.[3]
