The Jason McCartney Medal is a perpetual medal honouring Bali bombing survivor and former Australian Rules Football star Jason McCartney.[1]
Since 2003 the Jason McCartney Medal has been presented to the player voted the most courageous performer during clashes between the North Melbourne and Collingwood Football Clubs in the Australian Football League.
However, in 2010, no medal was awarded after the two clubs played in round 7, their only meeting for the year.
