Jason John Maxwell Garrison (born November 13, 1984 in White Rock, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League.

Playing career

Undrafted, Garrison played collegiate hockey with the University of Minnesota Duluth of the WCHA before signing a two-year entry level contract with the Florida Panthers on April 2, 2008.[1]

Garrison turned professional in the 2008–09 season, with AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans, scoring 35 points and earning a solitary recall to Florida to make his NHL debut against the St. Louis Blues on October 25, 2008.[2]

Jason split the season in 2009–10 between the Panthers and the Americans, scoring his first NHL goal in a 7-4 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on March 3, 2010.[3]
